India achieved a 150-run victory in the last T20 match at Wankhede Stadium on Sunday due to Abhishek Sharma’s incredible century which helped them win the series 4-1.
England opener Phil Salt (55 off 23) took the initial step to chase the mammoth 248 target but received minimal support as his teammates lost their wickets around him. The Indian spinners secured early wickets which forced England to struggle at 68-4.
England fell apart dramatically reaching 97 all out in just 10.3 overs while Mohammed Shami took three wickets and Varun Chakaravarthy alongside Shivam Dube and Abhishek each claimed two.
India achieved their record powerplay score of 95 with 16 boundaries after Abhishek entered the game and launched an aggressive attack.

Abhishek delivered an explosive 135-ball century which was the second fastest for the home side but the other Indian batters failed to match up against the England bowlers.
Brydon Carse successfully halted the Indian run rate by taking successive wickets of Tilak Varma and captain Suryakumar Yadav while Dube was dismissed in his third over.
Tilak and Dube’s brief but effective appearances helped Abhishek while Suryakumar continued his dismal form by getting caught for two and ending his series with a total of just 28 runs.
Mark Wood delivered a fiery performance after taking Saqib Mahmood’s place and secured two wickets from Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya.
India’s next matches against England will take place in three one-dayers beginning Feb. 6.
