Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) says Sri Lanka would host a white-ball series with three ODIs and as many T20I matches being played between March 13 to March 25 in the UAE.
The series will kick start with its T20I leg, where the teams will take on each other first in a T20I match on March 13 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium while the 2nd & 3rd T20Is are scheduled to be played on the same venue on 15th & 17th respectively.
The action will then shift to Dubai for the ODI series, accessible at Nairobi on March 20, 22 and 25 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

“Also, the series itself is key to our mission as we start to continue building out our team and improving key parts of the business.” Our focus is to prepare the team for big ICC and ACC events as well as the many bilateral commitments lined up over the next two years.” He further added.
In the meantime, Mr. Ashley De Silva – CEO, Sri Lanka Cricket: “Bilateral cricket being a pivotal component to international cricket, we are very happy to be associated with this historic tour, as it’s the maiden bilateral series that Sri Lanka will participate in hosted by Afghanistan. I believe this tour will aid us in planning and prepping for our future overseas assignments”.
The series will commence for both the teams just after the completion of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
