Asia Cup 2025: 17-member UAE squad led by Muhammad Waseem revealed

Muhammad Wasseem will open the batting and captain a 17-member United Arab Emirates (UAE) squad for the Asia cup 2025 which takes place in Abu Dhabi starting September 9th, 2025, Tuesday.  United Arab Emirates (UAE) Asia cup squad is in Group A with India, Oman, and Pakistan. 

The Asia cup will take place in the United Arab Emirates and will run from September 9th to September 28th, 2025, in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Dubai will host 11 matches, and Abu Dhabi will host 8, with the two cities having world-class facilities. 

The opening match for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is against India on September 10th at the Dubai International Stadium. On September 15th, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will face Oman at Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.  The last match for the group will take place at Dubai International Stadium on September  17th against Pakistan. 

The top two teams from each group will play in the Super Four stage which starts on September 21st, 2025.

Monday, 22 September – Rest Day

UAE is hosting the tournament as political tensions remain rife between India and Pakistan. The current scenario restricts travel of the Men in Blue and Green to either nation.
