After Australia’s 184 run victory against India during the 4th Test, Pat Cummins in an interview said this game was one of the best he had ever played for his country.

While Indian batting collapsed in the last session, an entertaining day 5 antagonized by the home crowds International Western Sydney being a key figure witnessing the game.

Thanks to Cummins who was awarded man of the match for picking 3 wickets allowing the Australians to dismiss their opposition for 155 runs in the final.

The attendance for the game reached an astonishing 373,691 including around 75,000 on the final day. BJ Watling was in awe of this remarkable support that witnessed history being made infront of them.

In support to his peers, the veteran Test player said the performance of the whole squad during the Test was everything one could ask for, one of the greatest matches played in the history of Australia.

Saying that he did agree with the assumption that everyone in the squad was thinking. AJ Harris was more than happy as his side walked away with a victory saying I don’t think so, but the audience was huge.

“Firstly, the match did swing if you’ve noticed. At no time did it appear to us that we were so much in the game as to be sure of a win.

“Talking about winning overall, just one of those great wins.,”

Asked what set up Australia after India resumed at 71 for 4, year Cummins had something to add. For starters, he felt the early dismissals of the key trio Rohit, KL Rahul and Kohli set the tone.

“It was close to a perfect session of Test cricket, from a bowler’s perspective,” he said extremly elevating it, or our standards have gone low.

On the condition that they manage to either of draw or win the fifth final Test, Australia are in contention for the BorderGavaskar Trophy.

Given that many had expected him to rest in the words of Cummins, he wanted Starc to be game ready which will impact the attack in a huge way.

There is still a couple of days to the next match, so we will have to assess Cummins failure personally.

Wow, Curtis, you are so phenomenal, I don’t ever see you not ever being in pain and manages to take the ball.

“Besides this painful attack, Andy fully fit and has been great for us.”
