Although the win is important for the Indian side to gain some confidence in their T20 World Cup, the way forward looks difficult, especially with Australia coming later in the group stage. With their Net Run Rate still being a matter of concern, strategies are likely to be heightened in the subsequent matches by the Indian squad. All eyes will be on the Indian team as they hope to gain some forward motion in the competition in order to move deeper into it than the group stage.
