The T20 2020 World Cup will be played in 3 stages- first round, featuring Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, Super 12s and then the knockouts. According to the announcement made at an event in Australia on January 29, the men’s competition of the T20 World Cup will be played between October 18 and November 15. Several qualifying matches are to be held prior to Australia taking on world’s top-ranked Pakistan in the first match of the tournament-proper on October 24 at Sydney Cricket Ground.
