Thousands of people will have been looking at the Arsenal goalless draw this weekend and scoff two points.
But for me it showed they’re a lot tougher than some make them out to be – a goal down against a Fulham side that had a lot to prove and in truly terrible English conditions around this time of year.
They played and honestly ought to have been able to win. I feel like the players will come out strong this week as a team and take the game as a challenge that they defeated with great attitude.
But for Arsenal the litmus test comes this month. They’ll have to fight for every point this holiday break and come the beginning of January we’ll know if they can do it or not.

The Chelsea win at Spurs was everything that football is all about – lots of goals and action.
They are a very entertaining team but they have way too many goals in the net which is why I think Arsenal will be the biggest challenger to Liverpool this season.
On the Old Trafford side it was another dreadful day for Man United and I don’t know how the new boss is going to make three at the back work.
I started a three at Inter Milan and for France too – you can’t get used to it and these guys are newbies.
